looking for anime with unique art styles!

hello! i found myself really into anime like cyberpunk: edgerunners, cowboy bebop and neo genesis evangelion where the characters deviate away from the typical anime art style and wanna find more titles like those (i guess evangelion is a little more standard but i like its more retro look) !

anything with a plot that’s mystery/suspenseful/intentionally making the watcher confused and left theorising what happened would be a good bonus too !!
