Made a huge mistake while handgun shopping today
No, nothing safety-related.
I'm shopping for my first handgun and have spent the past several weeks renting and shooting every 9mm I'm remotely interested in- all manner of Glocks, striker and hammer-fired Sigs, Berretta M92S, and the M&P 2.0. Everything was fine but nothing REALLY jumped out at me. Today I officially exhausted my list stuff I wanted to rent (sadly the range didn't have a VP9), but saw they had some CZs available. I've always liked the look of the CZ75 and thought I might as well experience it while I can, so I rented an SP-01...and fell in love after 1 magazine. I really picked the wrong year to get into firearms, didn't I?
What does /r/CAguns think I should do? I'm not keen on paying PPT prices for one right now. Should I wait for CZs to maybe possibly return to the roster later this year? My runner-ups are the M&P 2.0 and P229 (which is obviously closer to the SP-01), but they didn't impress me the same way the CZ did.
