i need help with this

i am getting a inguinal open surgery hernia repair with mesh and after the surgery i need supportive underwear (boxer briefs)

due to tightness (supportiveness) and location of incision, waistband may irritate incision people have said to wear a abdominal binder but this is abdomen, incision is further down. how do you get around this, what do people usually wear cos i am not comfortable with loose clothing

can someone confirm if inguinal open surgery without mesh’s incision bulges out more than an inguinal open surgery with mesh

i will take which ever surgery is easier.
