What have you learned from the Off menu Podcast
What opinion, thought, recipe, advice, random structure of words from either Ed, James or a guest has resonated with you to the point that is has changed your view on dining?
Maybe cheese boards are inferior to sweet desserts, or yorkshire puddings take up too much real estate, have you realised that sparkling water is bad for your teeth(or perhaps according to some its the devil - glug glug glug), have you started sneaking sandwiches into dinner parties and having a little nibble in the loo, maybe you have realigned you loyalties when it comes to Jollof Rice.
Has there been an episode where you have walked away with new information that has changed your dining experience?
Mine would be a very basic one (although i have many more i'm sure). I never realised the importance of the bread course. I grew up on a council estate where the only bread i knew was hovis white. I had no idea how many different types of bread there were and how good they can be. I saw the different types of bread but just assumed they were hovis white. It was only after listening to people describe bread on Off Menu that i decided to delve into the world of bread and my lord have i entered a place of pure happiness. Also dont get me started on olive oil and balsamic........ and the buttter, Geez
