It is illegal to boycott israel

I work for a nonprofit that prints and donates books to children around the world.

A clerk from the Texan government called us this morning saying we can't ship any more books to Texas until we sign and notarize a form regarding new legislation. I asked what the legislation pertains to and they told me it's a bill that says no business, non-profit, or vendor can operate in Texas without promising that they are not and will not boycott Israel.

It's called the Law for Prevention of Damage to the State of Israel through Boycott, and it's active in many states, on its way to becoming a federal law. They bar us from even donating books.
