I’m currently working on a project related to Iraq and it’s history, I was wondering how many Jewish prophet tombs are there in Iraq? I know of Ezra, Ezakiel, Nahum and Jonah. Are there any that I’ve missed?

This stray cat has been camping at our house for 3 days now, it kept trying to come in so we gave it some food but everytime I even come close to the door or open it she tries to come in, it doesn’t seem to be scared of humans like most other cats. What do I do?

Pictures, videos, questions, and articles featuring/about cats.

I’ll comment the names of every country and you can vote if you like them by upvoting and if you dislike them by downvoting the comment. I will later use the data to make a census map for the server. I’ve added countries beyond the Middle East just to make it a little more interesting and fun

couple of pictures from Nineveh plains. Last two pics aren’t as clear but it’s Alqosh, arab an Hormzid on the mountain and Deyr El-Sayida monastery. From what I’ve noticed in my visit Alqosh seems to be growing and surprisingly developing. Houses are very modern and renewed.

Is there a reason why Iraq is classified with Iran Turkey and the Caucasus rather than the other Arab countries? Are Mesopotamian Arabs genetically reminiscent of their pre-Islamic ancestors? (Genetics test from an Iraqi Assyrian, not mine)
